Friday, May 11th, 2018 Sevendust’s “All I See is War” tour hit the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. The band’s crew prepared the stage quicker than any band I’ve ever seen. They moved with quickly and precisely wasting no time. The band entered the stage in the dark, and as soon as the lights hit the performance began. Lajon spent much of his stage time at the edge of the stage, performing as close to the crowd as possible. Lajon made the concert unique by providing the front row with a face-to-face performance and often reaching into the audience to touch the fans. The vibes were positive even though the name of the tour may lead you to believe otherwise. When an audience member fell in the mosh pit, Lajon made sure they were safe. Early in the performance, Vince gave a fan one of Morgan’s drumsticks. It was really cool to see the chill connection the band has with their dedicated fans.
